/ /The New Garden: 2009 /
The garden is coming along albeit slowly, but it is coming along. I have already eaten my first salad leaves and baby radishes and coming up are my melons, tomatoes, parsley, coriander and various other stuff, too.

I still haven't got my potatoes in the ground yet and I know that this is really bad. I just don't seem to have the time to get it all done. Even though my working week has been reduced to a mere four days a week, I seem to have so little time in which to achieve everything that I should.

Watch this space for more details.

My landlady, who has been so kind as to let me use her garden to grow some flowers and stuff doesn't really enjoy such things as gardening and so I am practically given a free hand with what I do in the garden. I have decided against a wholesale digging up and planting out regime and instead I want to predominently plant my garden out using containers and in making use of small beds.

So, it has finally happened and I have managed to find a little corner of heaven in which to build my eden on Earth. OK, maybe that sounds a little grand but in truth that is exactly what I want to do.
come back often to see the progress that I hope I am making with the evolution of my little garden.
